The weather has been pretty warm. Mostly in the 40's & 50's for the past few days, although we did get a few inches of snow last week, today is all but gone. Tomorrow, it is supposed to snow again. Just an inch or two, but snow nonetheless. I like running as it is snowing. Not falling down on slick sidewalks, but there is something peaceful about the snow falling around you as your body finds it's pace and your legs pump in a gentle rhythm. By the end of a few miles a nice sweat is going and in the end you can't help but to feel like you accomplished something. On top of having better blood pressure from the exercise, studies show that enjoying nature can lower blood pressure even more.

1st snow run

It is snowing today, not just a little, we're talking about 6-8 inches. Of course I had to go for a run. I really enjoy a nice run when it is snowing. I do not like the cold anymore and I only like snow for a few things: it is nice at Christmas, and one or two snow runs, but aside from that, I would rather be in Key West.

Today was a good day for a snow run. It has not been really cold the last few days, staying in the high 40's or 50's, so the snow was not sticking to the roads or sidewalks. I did about 5 miles. The biggest down side was that the weather started as rain and there were ample puddles to run through, though I did not do that intentionally. When it is all done, it was a good run.
